Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis:

Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
Analyze data and industry reports to stay informed about market developments.

Client Acquisition:

Identify and target key accounts for business development opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking and securing new partnerships.

Sales Strategy:

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling proposals and presentations.

Negotiation and Contract Management:

Networking:

Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build a network and promote the company.
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, finance, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution and delivery of services.
Provide feedback from clients to enhance service offerings.

Forecasting and Reporting:

Prepare regular reports on business development activities, progress, and forecasts.
Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience in business development within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
Willingness to travel as needed.
