Nectar is looking for a Finance Manager to work with our Co-founders & management team across Nectar Group's 3 entities.

What it takes

  • Proven track record in accounting & finance industry
  • Accounting and/or finance qualifications (CFA, ACCA, CPA etc. are a plus)
  • Ability to communicate accounting & finance reports to nonaccounting & finance stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Accounting Softwares (Xero is a bonus)
  • A passion for technology & automation
  • Ability to problem solve autonomously
  • At least 2 years experience in a managerial role

Responsibilities
About the Role

  • Manage and report on business critical finances, including net cash positions, monthly management reports, client collection etc.
  • Present and provide actionable insights or recommendations based on reports
  • Communicate financial information clearly and highlight areas of risk where necessary.
  • Keep audit and transaction records up to date via Xero software.
  • Collaborate with cofounders to maintain budgets and make financial decisions together.
  • Negotiate with vendors, debtors and be in charge of client collections.
  • Prepare financial forecasts, policies and proposals to improve profitability.
  • Establish and enforce accounting and finance policies or processes where necessary

Salary:
RM8, RM10,000.00 per month


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

  • Kuala Lumpur: Relocate before starting work (required)
