Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage a production department's work force and equipment to meet production goals
- Ensure that production stays on schedule and within budget
- Hire, train, and evaluate production department's work force to ensure they meet performance requirements
- Create ways to make the production process more efficient
- Determine whether overtime work is necessary
- Fix any production problems that may arise
- Lead a production department so that all production activities meet the organization's short
- To ensure products are made and ship to customer on time as per quality & customer requirements.
- Establish production budgets, monitor the cost and effectiveness of production activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve volume, quality, and manufacturing standards.
Requirements:
- Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia
- At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Manager specialized in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent
- Required skills:
- Proven experience as production manager
- Good understanding and knowledgeable in production management
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulate
- Knowledge in ISO standards is added advantage.
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concept
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point) and
- Epicor ERP software
- Outstanding communication ability
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skill
- Attention to detail.
- Strong decisionmaking skills and a resultsdriven approach
- Ability to read technical drawings is an added advantage
