Job Title Trade Settlement Department Finance Department

Direct Superior Finance Specialist Location KL Eco City

Working Hours 9.30am - 6.30pm Salary RM 8000 above

Working Days 5 days

Key Responsibilities

Checks, verify and authorised settlement instructions for trade to be settle Checks and signs settlement and payment instructions to custodian

exchanges/counter-parties for local / foreign trades. Checks and verifies all submissions to the Finance Department, CFO or any requisite compliance bodies. Release of digital assets. Reviews the 'Deliveries Report From/Posted To Clearing Account'. Reviews the 'Indicative Buy/Sell Contracts Due on Settlement Date'. Reviews 'Outstanding Contracts By Approved Institution To Be Settled'. Reviews 'Final List of Buy/Sell Contracts Report For Settlement'. Review and approve on 'Request for Trade/Contract Amendment Form'.

Check and ensure accurate and timely inward and outward delivery of digital assets for all settlements by the scheduled date and time as per requirement Check and ensure all reconciliations including but not limited to foreign trades done and payment, foreign shareholdings and custodian (if applicable) are verified accurately and timely.

Expectation


Be a role model to others, display team works and creative skills, have the ability to perform presentations when works are required.

Weekly report for progress update and complete tasks on time.


Knowledge/ Education/ Experience Required:
A. Education Background


  • Area of specialisation Required skill(s): Trade settlement, risk management.
B. Job-Related Experience


  • Minimum Level of Job-Related Experience required
At least 5 years of relevant working experience in settlements and contracts departments in the traditional securities industry.

C. Other Job-Related Skills/Background

  • Solid understanding of financial markets, investment instruments, and trade settlement processes.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to handle complex and timesensitive trade settlements.
Able to multitask and work under highly dependable circumstances. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities to ensure accuracy

in record-keeping and reconciliation processes. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various

stakeholders and resolve settlement-related issues. Knowledge of risk management principles and ability to identify and

mitigate operational risks.
