JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Prepares housekeeping forms necessary in the performance of his/her duties and responsibilities.
  • Removes glasses from public area tables, cleans ashtrays and tables.
  • Cleans restrooms and refills supplies, such as soap, paper towels, toilet paper.
  • Sanitizes toilet bowls and urinals in all public restrooms.
  • Empties trash cans and replaces liners.
  • Rearranges furniture after use by guests to the original position.
  • Checks electrical usage in the public areas and controls the replacement of burned out light bulbs on table lamps, informs engineering department of burnt out high ceiling lights and diffusers.
  • Hands over to the Housekeeping Supervisor all articles and guest's property found in public areas.
  • Keeps orderly manner of disposals of equipment, cleaning materials and linen cupboards on each area.
  • Reports to the supervisor any defects in regard to decor equipment, fixtures and fittings found in his/her area of responsibility.
  • Cleans glass windows of public areas whenever necessary when window cleaners are not around.
  • Maintains corridors and hallways.
  • Takes special care in handling keys.
  • Shampoos carpets, strips and seals floors as directed by the Executive Housekeeper
  • Performs other related duties as may be assigned by the Executive Housekeeper and Assistant Housekeeper.

Salary:
RM2, RM3,300.00 per month
