Role Description


This is a full-time hybrid role for a Presales Engineer located in
Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, with flexibility for some remote work.

The Presales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to customers during presales engagements, collaborating with the sales team to identify customer needs and develop appropriate solutions, and integrating
Cloocus services with customer environments to ensure seamless operation.

The Presales Engineer will also be responsible for ensuring the security of customer data both during and after the sales process.


Requirements:


  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify business opportunities, understanding client needs, and develop custom Azure solutions.
  • Architect and propose solutions involving Azure Database, Data Warehouse, PowerBI, Azure Fabric, Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, Azure DevOps, Azure IaaS, Microsoft 365, AKS, containers, AI Search, Azure Networking/Security, etc.
  • Perform competitive analyses to effectively position Cloocus's Azure offerings in the marketplace.
  • Deliver impactful presentations and demonstrations to a varied audience, including technical experts and business decisionmakers.
  • Lead Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives to demonstrate the value and effectiveness of Azure solutions.
  • Provide comprehensive sales support, resolving all technical queries throughout the sales process.
  • Offer consulting services, providing expert advice on cloud solutions and digital transformation strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing both technical and business requirements.
  • Stay updated on the latest Azure services and cloud technology trends.
  • A proactive approach to problemsolving and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and presentations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Strong sales acumen and a proven ability to influence decisionmakers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 810 years of experience in presales, solutions architecture, or a similar technical role, preferably with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Relevant Microsoft Azure or related technology certifications.
  • Deep understanding of a broad range of Azure technologies such as Azure Database, Data Warehouse, PowerBI, Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, Kubernetes, Azure AppDev/GitHub, DevOps, Azure IaaS, Azure Security, and others (4 or more).

Up to RM15,000.00 per month
