Description

To assist senior chef on duty with storage, preparation and cooking of all food items, ensuring that the highest possible quality is maintained and that agreed standards for food preparation and presentation are met at all times under guidance from a senior chef.

To assist and monitor food stocks and stock movement.
To ensure minimum kitchen wastage.
To follow the cleaning schedules for the kitchen and clean the section and other areas as directed.
To carry out daily and weekly procedures, including temperature checks and food labeling.
To comply with the conditions of the food hygiene policies.
To be familiar with the opening and closing procedures of the kitchen and carry them out as rotated.
