Description

Yayasan Malaysiakini was registered in July 2023, with the objective of promoting press freedom through education and other activities. It leverages Malaysiakini's audience reach, relationships and trust to achieve its objectives.

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing a portfolio of projects and initiatives to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Program Development: To manage and plan each program and/or events in accordance with the annual work plan of the foundation

Project Tracking and Reporting :Ensure to monitor project's progress and generate reports for stakeholders.

Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication with project teams, stakeholders, and executive management. Ensure alignment of objectives and expectations.

Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources, including project teams, to ensure project objectives are met within the defined budget and timeline.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date program documentation, including project plans, status reports, and documentation of decisions and action items.

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business or Project Management); a Master's degree is a plus.
A minimum of 5 years of industry experience, including at least 2 years in project management.
Proven experience in program management, including the management of multiple projects simultaneously.
Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Knowledge of industryspecific standards and best practices.
