    Come join the AWS Solutions Architecture team in Malaysia as a Security Solutions Architect. This role involves delivering architecture guidance, leading proof-of-concept projects, and conducting customer workshops. Collaboration with customers and partners is essential to address security and compliance challenges.

    Your responsibilities will include owning technical engagement, driving widespread adoption of the AWS platform, and developing expertise in AWS security technologies. You will represent AWS within customer environments and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation.

    The ideal candidate will possess customer-facing skills, enjoy working with diverse customers, and have a strong understanding of large-scale cloud computing solutions. Experience as a security systems engineer or architect is preferred, along with participation in deep-dive education and design exercises.

    Key Job Responsibilities

    Candidates should have experience in most of the following areas:

    1. Security Compliance: Strong understanding of customer security/compliance requirements.
    2. Speaking and Presentation Skills: Presentations, white boarding, large and small group speaking.
    3. Technical: Broad and deep knowledge of fundamental security principles and technologies, Security services development/deployment experience, and IT systems and network engineering experience.
    4. Operational Security: Experience in operationalizing both infrastructure and application security controls.
    5. Economic and Business: RFP/Acquisition support; market analysis; cost benefit analysis, etc.
    6. Enterprise Class Environment: Experience engaging enterprise class environment and complex architecture designs.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    1. 10+ years of current solutions architecture (implementation/consulting) experience.
    2. Deep knowledge of Infrastructure Security, Security Compliance and Operations.
    3. Experience architecting infrastructure solutions using Linux/Unix and Windows, including server, load balancing, HA/DR, & storage architectures.
    4. Experience architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions in enterprise customers. AWS specific experience is a bonus.
    5. Strong verbal and written communications skills in English are a must.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    1. Experience working within the Enterprise software market or Internet industries.
    2. Enterprise application and database architecture is a bonus.
    3. Technical degree required; Computer Science or Math background is highly desired.
    4. Working knowledge of software development practices and Internet-related technologies is highly desired.
    5. Industry Security certifications are highly desired.
