Job Purpose / Objectives

The Account Executive mainly handles the operation of the accounts and closing for some companies in the Group and performs some ad-hoc tasks.

Job Accountabilities

Prepare monthly management accounts and ensure proper recording of transactions in compliance with the company's policies, approved accounting standards and related statutory tax requirements.
Responsible for daily accounting operations e

g:
billing, collection, claim checking, payment, fund transfer, bank reconciliation, intercompany reconciliation, bookkeeping, etc.

Prepare monthly management reports to analyse the variances between actual results and budget and prior year results.
Perform operational finance functions.
Prepare annual budget and assist in ongoing budget control.
Perform cashflow forecast and cashflow monitoring on an ongoing basis.
Assist in audit, tax, company secretary and banking matters and liaise with relevant parties.
Review the internal processes and procedures and provide recommendations to HOD to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Undertake adhoc assignments from time to time.

Requirements:

Minimum Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
At least 23 years of accounting experience.
Prior audit knowledge will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCount, and English writing.
Selfmotivated, strong sense of responsibility, committed, good interpersonal skills, high level of accuracy in work and time management skills to ensure deadlines are met, willing to learn and take up challenges.
Able to work under pressure and proactively meet deadlines.
