JOB OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain proper operation of equipment, machinery or mechanical devices, including engines, pumps, mechanical equipment or electro-mechanical devices.
Investigate malfunctioning equipment, machinery or mechanical devices to determine source of failure. Testing the performance of marine engines & electrical systems.
Replacing broken or worn-out engine parts.
Troubleshooting engine & electrical problems.
Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery or mechanical devices, lead a team/ ship engineer crew in repair engine.
Develop operating and maintenance procedures for equipment, machinery, or mechanical devices.
Repairing faulty hydraulic & steering systems.
Conducting electrical AC/ DC system maintenance.
Completing service records & repair documents.
Design, test & supervise installation of mechanical or electro-mechanical devices.
Repair & maintain sterndrives, inboard & outboard motors, jet drives, i/o drives, stern gear, seals & hoses & propellers.
Install, repair, modify or maintain diesel engines, fuel system, hydraulic systems, electrical & electronics systems & marine powertrains,
Perform routine preventative maintenance
Testing the performance of marine engines & electrical systems.
Scraping away old paint, barnacles & debris from vessels.
Constructing replacement parts using drawings, saws & various hand & power tools.
Any other related task given by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have 3 + years proven experience in a marine repair facility, electrical, propeller & shafting works.
Knowledgeable in marine diesel engine systems, boat systems & components, marine hydraulic systems, AC/ DC & related part.

Ability requirement:

Welding, lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, to stand, sit & stoop for prolonged periods, ability to read & understand technical manuals.
