  • Overview
  • Responsible for reviewing anomalous activity alerts/cases that are closed by Transaction Monitoring and Customer Acceptance Analysts, Junior Analysts, and Senior Analysts as a control to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with regulatory, internal/external audit requirements and policy/procedural requirements.
  • Responsible for testing QA staff accuracy (sample check). Involvement in QA Program development and implementations. Responsible for ensuring individual adherence to defined quality standards/core competencies that are required for all analysts.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Acts as a liaison between Operations, Training, and Group Compliance for coordinating goals and objectives to enhance continuous process and quality improvement
  • Acts as an SME on the day to day process of conducting quality review of operations analysts work. Objectively assesses quality of investigative analyst work for what is going well and what needs to improve and supports coaching efforts
  • Ambassador for best practices and facilitator of knowledge in money laundering processes
  • Escalation point for review of complex cases to validate that transaction monitoring alerts were processed in line with quality standards
  • Ensures that the Quality Assurance process is executed in adherence with standard policies and procedures, using standard tools
  • Authority in complex case dispositions
  • Operates within the agreed business SLAs and confidentiality standards
