Roots by Kebun Kota is a café-restaurant in Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia. The café operates on the principle that sustainability is an attitude. Thus, we encourage sustainable practices in all throughout our management and operational chain. We sell food and beverage products made from locally and organically grown produce. Besides that, we also help local entrepreneurs sell their handmade products as part of our vendor scheme. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of baristas and support crew to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase profitability while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Create and maintain a positive work environment where team members feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
• Foster strong relationships with customers and the local community to build brand loyalty and drive repeat business.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and development to existing team members.
• Manage scheduling, attendance, and other administrative tasks efficiently and accurately.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• 12 years work experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a cafe or restaurant setting
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Strong understanding of cafe operations, including food and beverage preparation, inventory management, and customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to problemsolve, make decisions under pressure, and handle challenging situations with professionalism.
• Able to work under mínimal supervision

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
RM1, RM2,300.00 per month
