Aim of the job:


  • Support the endtoend activities of risk management.

Main responsibilities and activities:


  • Conduct risk assessments, collecting and analyzing documentation, statistics, reports and market trends.
  • Establishes policies and procedures to identify and address risks in the organizations services and departments.
  • Reviews and assesses risk management policies and protocols; makes recommendations and implements modifications and improvements.
  • Recommends and implements risk management solutions such as insurance, safety, health, environment and security policies, business continuity plans or recovery measures.
  • Reviews and analyzes metrics and data such as cash flow, inventory, breakage and employee activity that could uncover fraudulent behaviour.
  • Drafts and presents risk reports and proposals to executive leadership and senior staff.
  • Performs other duties as directed.

Requirements:


  • Bachelors Degree or other professional qualifications equivalent to a Bachelors Degree.
  • Accounting, Risk Management or other relevant professional qualifications.
years experience.

  • Good understanding of risk management and internal control framework.
  • Good command of English with strong analytical, report writing and communication skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Specific knowledge linked to the job:

  • Accounting/finance/general operations
  • Plantation operations (not required but an advantage)
  • Risk management and internal controls framework (ISO 31000/COSO/etc.)
