Description

Manage and oversee the IT resources and infrastructure in the Plant, by providing cost effective Solution that meets the needs of the business.

Recommends information technology strategies, policies and procedure by evaluating organization outcome; identified problem; anticipating requirements.

  • Facilitate the IT Department. Establish and maintain high level of motivation. Accomplishes IT staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure that quality and timely IT support services are provided to internal users, regional and external users, which IT resources are effectively utilized and that users are properly trained and Supported. Liaise with vendors or/and regional IT team to address any escalation issues.
  • Develop short, medium and long term of IT strategies for the Plant that are aligned to business Objectives, and represent IT in the overall business planning process. Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for IT Implementation.
  • Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees through inhoused or external parties; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunity.
  • Completes projects by coordinating, managing resources and timetables with end users, Vendor and IT staff (local/regional). Ensure focus and prioritization is given to any action required.
  • Preserves assets by implementing and testing of disaster recovery plan (DRP) and backup/ restoration procedures and information security and control.
  • Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; keep track of expenditures, inventory, licensing; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking stateoftheart practices; participating in professional societies.

Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
RM10, RM14,000.00 per month
