Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to assist in material planning, scheduling, and purchasing activities.
  • Maintain accurate supply and delivery schedules to optimize workflow and minimize disruptions.
  • Demonstrate exceptional recordkeeping skills to track and store all purchased items, maintaining precise inventory records for easy accessibility and effective management.
  • Identify primary and alternate sources for each required item, promoting healthy competition among suppliers to obtain the best value for the organization.
  • Oversee relationships with multiple suppliers and freight forwarders, fostering positive partnerships that enhance collaboration and performance.
  • Conduct regular assessments of supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards, and promptly address any shortcomings.
  • Supervise inbound freight and carrier functions, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and streamlining logístical processes.
  • Engage in negotiations with suppliers, vendors, and freight forwarders to secure materials and products in a timely and costeffective manner.

Requirements:


Academic Qualification:

  • At least a Diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.

Experiences:

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in purchasing and logistics planning.
  • Strong in planning and highly organised.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
  • Able to communicate effectively and work well with others.

Salary:
RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
