Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities:


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead effective brand management and communications, utilizing market trend analysis and consumer behavior insights to inform strategic business decisions
  • Drive brand initiatives to achieve total category Net Sales Value (NSV), Gross Margin (GM%), and Market Shares.
  • Develop annual marketing plan to support brand direction and business performance. Develop demandcreation plans to fuel category growth
  • Lead & Execute local New Product Innovations (NPI) pipeline to address market needs and consumer pain points.
  • Responsible for managing innovations and renovations based on consumer insights. Lead in sourcing, packaging development and gotomarket strategy.
  • Development and implementation of the Full Marketing Mix (including Commercial program, media planning & buying & evaluation, POSM / instore activation, packaging design development) and Go-ToMarket Strategy
  • Take ownership of marketing campaigns by:
  • _ Identifying growth opportunities and proposing ideas for local execution_
- _ Driving campaign execution - brief, liaise and manage agencies to ensure smooth & timely delivery_

  • Consumer Qualification and project management leadership of product innovation (proposition, concept testing, product specification, commercialization)
  • Development and implementation of annual plans as well as Quarterly Business updates
  • Responsible for development of pricing and promo strategy, including market data analysis.
  • Analyze brand Profit and Loss and drive recommendation for profitability of the brand
  • Lead in ongoing analysis and review of consumer, category and competitive information as part of a situation assessment of brand performance and identify growth opportunities (Nielsen, Kantar)
  • Build productive working relationships with customer development/sales team, finance and supply chain to manage brand's day to day operations, and external partners and agencies
  • Implement Revenue Growth Management (RGM) initiatives for maximizing topline growth and margin improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors'/Masters' Degree in Business or Marketing
  • Additional trade marketing, digital marketing, new product developments and/or crossfunctional experience is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in FMCG industry
  • Prior experience in marketing/brand building experience will be an advantage
  • Demonstrate potential in leadership, highly independent with strong interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate across different functions/teams
- other marketing teams (e.g. trade marketing), mill and regional teams.

  • Excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize ; Track record of result delivery
  • Experience in crossfunctional leadership and project management essential
  • Experience in broad stakeholder management.
