Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to be based at 1.2 MW Biogas Plant at Kg Valdor, Penang
- Reports to Plant Manager
- In charge of safe electrical and mechanical operation of overall power plant and Interconnection Facility
- Lead daytoday maintenance tasks including working very closely with team members.
- Lead and perform general repairs from work requests, troubleshooting, repair of equipment, and resolution of operational issues.
- Schedule maintenance tasks on overall Biogas power plant, based on established prioritization process.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols for the site and exercise safe work practices by following all Company safety rules, OSHA regulations and Suruhanjaya Tenaga
- Actively engage in safety improvement and safety awareness efforts and programs for all electrical & mechanical systems at the overall Biogas power plant.
- Monitor and handle, circulation and storage of wastewater, flammable gases and other potentially dangerous products to ensure that safety guidelines are followed accordingly.
- Conduct technical and safety trainings to Operators and Engine Drivers / Shift Supervisors.
- Incharge of Safety management of the plants and assist Plant Manager in development of safety documentation.
- Assist plant management with implementing techniques and methods of process control that will increase plant and operational efficiencies.
- Assist site management for participation in Company's continuous improvement programs and provide support to team efforts.
- Maintains confidentiality at all times.
- Performs other duties as assigned and required by Plant Manager from time to time.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical
- Having an Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) Certificate is an advantage
- conversant in Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Basic computer skills is required
