Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Chef De Partie to join our dynamic culinary team.
As a Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
This role requires strong culinary skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of dishes in your assigned section of the kitchen.
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to recipes and standards set by the Executive Chef.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas and suggestions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in your section of the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure adequate stock.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with other members of the culinary team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new cooking techniques and procedures.
- Take responsibility for the smooth running of your section during service, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and served in a timely manner.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and recordkeeping.
- Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Chef De Partie or in a similar culinary leadership role.
- Culinary degree or equivalent training and experience.
- Strong culinary skills and a passion for food and cooking.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
