Chef De Partie


Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Chef De Partie to join our dynamic culinary team.

As a Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

This role requires strong culinary skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the preparation and cooking of dishes in your assigned section of the kitchen.
  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to recipes and standards set by the Executive Chef.
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas and suggestions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in your section of the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure adequate stock.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with other members of the culinary team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new cooking techniques and procedures.
  • Take responsibility for the smooth running of your section during service, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and served in a timely manner.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and recordkeeping.
  • Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience working as a Chef De Partie or in a similar culinary leadership role.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent training and experience.
  • Strong culinary skills and a passion for food and cooking.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
