Description

This position is responsible for handling the in process parts that required quality inspections in ensuring all parts meet customers requirements.

He will assist in QA Engineer in implementing, monitoring and maintaining the activitise & documentation in the QC Lab. He will help keeping our premises clean and follows the company policy


Key responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Responsible on performing physical quality inspection (documentation and physical checks)
  • Generate NCD reports to ensure appropriate disposition of nonconforming products.
  • Assess onhold material and perform administration of internal claims
  • Carry out reliability in activities such as reliability monitoring, customer reliability requests and inhouse evaluation requests
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by immediate superior
  • Perform verification on the Incoming products need to inspection within a day for new receiving products.
  • To ensure no bottleneck at IPQC related areas
  • Involving APS / ERP Inspection updating into the related system
  • Conduct daily review of claims and generate internal claim reports, documents and any related activities
  • Assist in raising claim to supplier; followup on the actions on dispositions; and document control functions
  • Update and review quality work procedures
  • Perform routine filing on related documents
  • Maintain good 55 practices in the workplace

Work experience and education requirements

  • At least 2 years handson experience in handling CMM machines and various type of measuring equipment is a must
  • At least 3 year work experience in an industrial assembly/manufacturing environment
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints, engineering/manufacturing drawing & sketches, specifications using knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerance standards
  • Certificate/Diploma in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Quality) or equivalent
  • Preferably working experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance or equivalent
  • Oral and written communication in English is a must
  • Good computer literacy preferred, in example Microsoft Office
