Responsibilities:


  • Prepare journal vouchers including insurance, HRDF, Misc AP and all other related to monthly closing process as well as support GBS team to ensure all entries are posted on a timely basis.
  • Prepare and compile account reconciliation and various month end reports and ad hoc reports required by various stakeholders.
  • Manage various activities to prepare the Management Accounts, Financial Statements and Tax Returns that are in compliance with the Goodyear Accounting standards (USGAAP) and Local Accounting standrad (MFRS) as well as local tax laws, on a timely manner.
  • Support General Accounting Manager/Financial Controller in analysis related to General Accounting entries as well as implement/execute ad hoc projects such as stock take and other projects related to General Accounting.
  • Backup person to Sales Analyst such as pricing extraction, monthly maintenance of cost in the system accurately.

Qualifications:


  • Degree in accounting or any related field
  • 12 years experience in AP, GA, or Financial Reporting Environment
  • Understanding of local and US GAAP accounting standards
  • Good knowledge in accounting and taxation
  • Understanding of internal and external audit concepts
  • Selfmotivated, Good interpersonal and communication skills
