***Responsible for the overall operation of property facilities and maintenance, including overseeing the building structure, all mechanical and electrical equipment systems, and related maintenance in accordance with standards and quality programs. While leading the engineering team, this position is also assist Duty Engineer for recommending the effective operation and managing expenses.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate with team leaders regarding issues, risk, and liability concerns, or other important business matters.
  • Ensure high operational up time for property equipment by completing work orders in a timely manner.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests.
  • Communicate with different types of people to comprehend what they want and to provide them with information and assistance.
  • Check for new maintenance requests from other department and update remarks once the task is completed.
  • Preform maintenance activities in the guest room like plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairing all types of hardware, electrical equipment including lamps, air conditioners / HVAC and AC ducts.
  • Perform maintenance activities in hotel public areas like plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairing all types of hardware, plumbing and electrical equipment and cosmetic items.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES

  • 2+ years' experience in hospitality management, including 1 years in a food and beverage leadership role. Luxury hotel experience preferred.
  • Degree/diploma in Engineering or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides knowledge, skills, and ability sufficient to successfully perform the duties of the position.
  • Thorough knowledge of all types of mechanical equipment, such as chillers, boilers, water treatment, and refrigeration; plumbing; and electrical systems.
  • Experience in office procedures, material ordering, and data tracking systems.
  • Experience in construction and blueprint reading.
