Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head of Internal Auditor (HIA) to execute the annual audit plan.
- Preparing review of business activities that are carried out by the respective departments within the organization and branches.
- Report significant issues related to governance, risk management and internal control processes, including improvements to the HIA.
- Periodically provide information on the status and results of the jobs allocated as per the audit plan.
- Visit branches as per plan or randomly to check the process and guidelines are followed as per BNM policies and KLR operations procedures.
- Surprise cash verification on branches and submitting report to HIA and in the absence of HIA to board and management.
- Identify the weakness and suggest quality measures to improve them.
- Follow up with the respective departmental heads on the audit observations and implementation of the corrective actions recommended.
- Verifying correspondent partners, vendors and all counterparty or partners agreements, contracts, NDAs periodically as per audit plan or as and when appropriate as per IA function.
- Prepare departmental wise audit scope and reports as per directions from board or HIA and ensure the implementation.
- Intimate the HIA & management immediately if any major violations observed and corrective actions required.
- Assist HIA in completing the annual audit reports to Board.
- Ensure the Board Audit Committee (BAC) minutes are documented, and observations and recommendations are implemented.
- Ensure the Policies and SOPs are formulated as per BNM guidelines and review to ensure no gaps in implementation and suggest if any recommendations on quality of process.
- Verify the annual audit reports from external auditors and other BNM reports from respective departments.
- Verify the branch operating timings, customer complaints and handling procedures.
- Correspondent settlement and bank statements reconciliations with accounts.
- Ensure new employee onboarding and orientation programs in place.
- Ensure employee training and calendar from compliance for all employees are conducted as per plan.
Salary:
RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Early shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
