Job Summary:
Responsible for driving revenue growth and maximizing sales opportunities by developing and executing effective sales strategies.


This role involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, meeting revenue targets, and collaborating with various departments to ensure exceptional guest experiences.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales Strategy and Execution:


  • Develop a comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the business objectives.
  • Identify target markets, customer segments, and potential business opportunities.
  • Implement creative approaches to attract and retain clients, including promotions, packages, and events.

Client Relationship Management:


  • Build strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel agencies, and other potential customers.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and site visits to showcase facilities and services.
  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.

Revenue Generation:


  • Set and achieve sales targets for individual team members and the sales department as a whole.
  • Negotiate and close contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
  • Upsell and crosssell additional services and amenities to maximize revenue.

Event and Group Sales:


  • Collaborate with F&B and event teams to sell and organize conferences, meetings, weddings, and other events.
  • Coordinate with clients to ensure their event requirements are met, from planning to execution.

Market Analysis and Competitor Research:


  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
  • Use market insights to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Collaboration and Communication:


  • Work closely with marketing and operations teams to align sales efforts with promotional activities and service delivery.
  • Provide timely feedback to management on market trends, client preferences, and sales performance.

Team Leadership and Development:


  • Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities to enhance team members' skills.

Budget and Reporting:


  • Develop and manage the sales department budget, including expenses related to sales trips, client entertainment, and promotional activities.
  • Generate regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for management review.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Proven sales leader who is able to bring out the best in their teams and achieve targets.
  • Proven sales experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a theme park setting.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality operations, services, and customer expectations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in sales software, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop unique sales strategies.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining reputation.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
From RM6,000.00 per month


Schedule:

  • Fixed shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Rotational shift
  • Weekend jobs

Supplemental pay types:

  • Performance bonus
