Purchasing Executive

Responsibilities:


  • Support in sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and negotiating prices and terms.
  • Prepare purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure all necessary documentation is complete and compliant with company policies.
  • Deal and understand the procurement needs from other stakeholders
  • Maintain communication with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any issues that may arise. Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
  • Keep record of procurement data accurately. Maintain organized records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
  • Support in managing contracts with suppliers, including reviewing contract terms, tracking expiration dates, and ensuring compliance with agreements.
  • Research potential suppliers and products to expand the supplier base and improve procurement options.
  • Provide general administrative support to the procurement team, including preparing reports, and handling correspondence.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations in all procurement activities.

Job Requirements:


  • At least Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in business administration, supply chain management, or other related field
  • 5 years' experience in purchasing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and prioritize tasks.

Pay:
RM2, RM4,000.00 per month
