    Description

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled Business Analytics professional to join our team at Maybank. The ideal candidate will have experience in performance tracking, data extraction, and report generation using SQL, Python, Excel, and Power BI.

    Responsibilities

    • Support business teams in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis.
    • Extract relevant data from the bank's data warehouse and other systems for various reporting purposes.
    • Develop and maintain scripts in SQL and Python to produce regular reports.
    • Analyze and transform data using Excel, Power BI, and PP to drive informed decision-making.
    • Lead and implement improvements to the Management Information System (MIS) process across Commercial Banking, driving strategic decision-making.
    • Represent Business Banking in MIS discussions and represent its interests.
    • Enhance processes for MIS data extraction, collation, and analytics to support Commercial Banking's strategic objectives.
    • Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests as needed.

    Requirements

    • A degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a role involving MIS and analytics, script writing, and data-related tasks.
    • Excellent Excel skills and proficiency in SQL and Python.
    • Added knowledge and skills in BI tools, PP, and AI Agent tools would be advantageous.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • A passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
    • A self-motivated individual with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
