    Job Title: Procurement Specialist

    Job Summary

    The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with suppliers, negotiating deals, and monitoring stock flow. They will also be expected to understand consumer needs and market trends, and communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Liaise with Suppliers: Establish relationships with existing suppliers and identify new opportunities to secure better deals.
    • Negotiate Contracts: Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and agreements that meet our business requirements.
    • Market Research: Conduct regular market surveys to stay up-to-date on consumer needs and market trends.
    • Stock Control: Oversee stock flow, ensuring timely arrival and quality of goods.
    • Inventory Management: Coordinate with warehouse staff to maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure efficient storage.
    • Order Tracking: Monitor orders and guarantee timely delivery to our stores.
    • Forecasting: Analyze sales data to predict future demand and manage stock allocations accordingly.
    • Administrative Tasks: Process payments, invoices, and purchase orders, as well as perform other duties assigned by management.

    Requirements:

    • Degree Requirements: Candidate must possess a degree in any field.
    • Product Interest: Interested in grocery, fresh, or non-food products.
    • Linguistic Skills: Mandarin literacy is an added advantage.
    • Work Experience: Preferably 2 years of experience in a similar role, but fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
    • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
    • Location: Willingness to work in Pandamaran, Port Klang.
