Job Description

The Programme Associate support the various streams of work across the Seberang Prai Project, and assists the Programme Manager in matters related to project management, reporting and administration.

The various streams of work includes the creation of a Vision Plan for the Seberang Prai coastal area to achieve levels of higher economic development, an Environmental and Conservation initiative for the mangrove areas, the administration of a Grant Programme to revitalise small townships and the communities they support.

A background in Urban Planning/Architecture and Public Realm Improvement, Sustainable Development, Economics, Community Development and Engagement or Environment Science work would be useful.

The Associate is expected to work with experts and partners across the various areas of technical expertise, and provide hands-on support in delivering the projects on the ground.

The role requires extensive work with local communities, local government and other community-led groups in the delivery.

The Associate will also support the Project Manager in liaising with the other support teams in Think City such as Communications and Finance to ensure that projects are executed on time and within budget.

3-5 years of relevant professional experience
