Chemical industries are basic building blocks and critical inputs to the global economy, adding value to natural resources, transforming them into the materials needed by all the downstream industries and end products that we use in our daily life, including automotive, electrical and electronics, consumer goods to name a few.

The Chemicals, Materials & Metals Advisory practice partners with these companies to ideate, evaluate and enable decision making to shape the future portfolio of companies.


About the Role


Lead several complex projects (involving multiple/ senior stakeholders and involving more than 4-5 resources); ensure quality of work & deliverables in projects overseen; seen by client as business advisor in senior management situation; take ownership of selected accounts & should carry revenue quota responsibility for these accounts; take on the responsibility to mentor & coach junior consultants.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research studies to gather data on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape in the midstream fuels and lubricants sector
  • Analyze market data and develop insights to support clients' strategic decisions
  • Lead consulting engagements to deliver customized solutions that meet clients' needs and drive business growth
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and identify opportunities to deepen engagement
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the client base
  • Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and other business development materials to support client acquisition efforts
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, including scoping, planning, execution, and monitoring and controlling activities
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality research and consulting services to clients
  • Communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations to clients through reports, presentations, and other forms of documentation
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders in the industry
  • Stay uptodate with emerging technologies and industry best practices to provide clients with innovative solutions
Required Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 810 years of experience in market research and consulting, with a focus on the midstream fuels and lubricants sector
  • Indepth knowledge of the midstream oil and gas sector such as fuels and lubricants
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and information into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with clients and crossfunctional teams
  • Experience in project management, including scoping, planning, execution, and monitoring and controlling activities
  • Proven track record of delivering successful research and consulting engagements and driving business growth
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
