Junior Sous Chef - Chinese Cuisine

RM4,800 - RM5,500


Job requirement:


  • At least 2 years of experience in preparing Chinese Cuisine

Responsibilities:


  • Ensure at all times, assumes a pleasing and helpful attitude towards his superiors and fellow employees.
  • Always well groomed, takes care of his personal cleanliness, and is neatly dressed in a prescribed chef uniform.
  • Ensure his working station is clean at all times and maintain high standard for sanitation in the preparation area.
  • Responsible for preparing Local and Promotional food to various outlets as required in the event order or the restaurant menu.
  • To ensure safe working conditions at all times, notify to maintenance department if they are any defects.
  • Responsible for purchases, receiving, and production of the Chinese section.
  • Ensure no wastage, no overproduction and always maintain good cost control of the kitchen.
  • Ensure that, the chef must be completely familiar, he may be relocated either temporarily or permanently in the course of service to help in another station.
  • To ensure that kitchen staff adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • To monitor and ensure food standards in the production kitchen are always consistent, and creative and achieve minimum standards.
  • To assist in developing product specifications for all menus and all Chinese Cuisine.
  • To encourage all cooks to be innovative and creative.
  • To ensure that product consistency in quality of appearance and taste.
  • To maintain a highquality operation in service.
  • To ensure the accurate maintenance of food recipe data.
  • To continuously test, along with Executive Chef / Sous Chef new products in the market.
  • To share with the Executive Chef / Sous Chef the responsibility to revenue and profits.

Pay:
RM4, RM5,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sepang: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:
