Description

Prepare schedule delivery planning reports as required by the Transportation Manager.

Ø Assemble and track route information and develop route maps. Communicate this information to inter department.

Ø Perform ongoing evaluation of route efficiencies, develop strategies for improvement and report suggested changes to the Transportation Manager.

Ø Assist the Transportation Manager with ongoing orientation, training and evaluation to the driver group and report any concerns to the Transportation Manager.

Ø Managing the driver with ensure driver awareness of procedures pertinent to the transportation function. Report areas of concern and non-compliance to the Transportation Manager.

Ø Promote safe work practices in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety and superior's directives.

Ø Prepare daily delivery planning reports as required by the Transportation Manager.

Ø Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Transportation Manager.
