Key Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Building relationships with grantees/partners to ensure they have access to appropriate sources of expertise and knowledge to support them and keep abreast of developments within the environment.
  • Work closely with Impact Areas Leads, MLE, and Strategy & Partnerships team, share intelligence; develop an understanding of the impact that YH funding and support are having, and to escalate critical queries from grantees to MLE team or Impact Area Leads as appropriate.
  • Support partners in reporting progress on implementation of KPIs. Identify appropriate KPIs for grantees to measure performances and results progressively.
  • Collection and submission of grant report on time, daytoday grantlevel monitoring.
  • Conduct frequent field visits in collaboration with MLE & Impact Area Lead teams to identify issues and concerns on the ground and to ensure good and effective grant management.
  • Take an active and developmental role with grantees to help build the capacity of grantees, enhance the effectiveness of their work, including through advising on longterm sustainability and financial viability, and maximise learning within and across grant themes.
  • Coordinate meetings or events between grantees with MLE, Impact Area Lead and relevant parties and prepare and present written case reports with detailed analysis and recommendations.
  • Liaise closely with the grants administration team, ensuring timely disbursement of funds/support to grantees/partners.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 8 years of working experience in a related field preferably a managerial position in a nonprofit organization
  • Good communication and organizational skills, both verbal and written, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills with various audiences
  • Flexibility; must be willing and capable of adapting to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Evidence of dependability, trustworthiness and effective work habits
  • Ability to take initiative and complete project assignments independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to represent the organisation in a professional and highly competent manner
  • Must be able to multitask during peak periods and be able to work with deadlines
  • Must be able to work in a close, crossfunctional team environment
