Production Manager - Mandarin Speaking


Freshasia Foods Ltd is a leading frozen food manufacturer based in south east London, The UK, specialising in producing authentic Asian food.


Responsibilities:


  • Overseeing all manufacturing and production processes;
  • Designing new processes to improve quality, increase productivity and profitability;
  • Planning and managing rota to fulfil production demands;
  • Continuously monitoring production quality, costs, progress and onsite management on a daily basis;
  • Striving to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines;
  • Working closely with senior management and other heads of departments to improve production efficiency, requirements, timelines and costs;
  • Implementing safety, health, environment, and quality requirements;
  • Developing and implementing steps to complete training programmes;
  • Developing excellent leadership and communication skills to liaise effectively with all stakeholders;
  • Building comprehensive production strategies and sustainable plans by using external & internal resources, forecasts and historical figures;
  • Produce relevant reports on a regular basis and optimise forms and procedures;
  • Choosing and leading large project teams;
  • Taking part in project meetings, site visits, and noting any adjustments and additions to the project;
  • Organising all projectrelated paperwork;
  • Using realtime data collection to increase accuracy and lower labour costs;
  • Negotiating with suppliers and contractors;
  • Coordinating all project team members so workflow remains on schedule.

Requirements:


  • Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office, SAP
  • Must be able to work flexibly, when necessary
  • Excellent communication skills in both writing and verbal
  • Strong work ethics, responsible, reliable and positive
  • Must be able to work legally in the United Kingdom

Language Requirements:


  • Mandarin Chinese (fluent)
  • English (fluent)
  • Any other languages will be a plus

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
From RM219,300.00 per year
