As a member of our esteemed team, you will be at the forefront of shaping and implementing data governance framework, ensuring compliance, and driving technical automation initiatives, filling business requirements gaps with creative and innovative ways.

Develop, implement, maintain and improve the comprehensive data governance frameworks encompassing all business domains within the company to ensure standardization, compliance, relevancy and up to date with business strategic objectives

Collaborate and work closely with regional data security teams and guide business units to implement best practices and ensure compliance of data security guidelines
Maintain and optimize various inhouse data tools, i.e. query resource management, workflow automation tools, reports, dashboards, etc. to maximize efficiency, effectiveness and accuracy within the data analytics environment at all times
Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate compliance risks
Design, implement and maintain various workflow automation and technical processes with the objective of streamlining reports and ensuring data security compliance
Design and run initiatives to improve overall company's data literacy, and guide users through data governance best practices and concepts
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

Degree in Information Technology, or any other similar courses
Proficiency in Python / Javascript / Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel and SQL (Structured Query Language) preferably with at least 1 year of working experience handling automation tasks
Prior experience Hadoop and Apache Spark would be an added advantage
Has experience in liaising and managing different business stakeholders
Has a logical and systematic thought process with the ability to understand business requirements and needs from both high level and detailed point of views
Able to present ideas and solutions in a structured manner
Able to work and learn independently, and manage time effectively
