We are currently looking for a Crewing Manager to join our team.

This position will be located at Kuala Lumpur Sentral (Menara 1 Sentral) and it is easy to get to by public transportation as it is located at the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

Main Responsibilities
To ensure seafarers join with valid documents for the contract period.
To advertise and recruit new seafarers as required.
Familiarizes himself with the latest national and international rules and regulations and applicable forthcoming requirements regarding licenses and travel and keeps all concerned advised.
Ensures compliance with crewing processes as described in GIMS.
Briefs / Debriefs Seafarers within his respective area.
Monitors routine activities in the office at all times.
Seafarer welfare including grievances.
Reports the operational activities to the Operations Manager.
Liaises locally with Maritime bodies, both governmental and nongovernmental.
To carry out any other job /responsibility entrusted by Operations Manager/GM.
Accountabilities
Seafarers processed to join at the right place and time at optimum cost.
Seafarers join with valid documentation for the tenure period.
Qualifications
A person certified to sail on board a vessel as an officer OR
Preferably a graduate from a recognized university and proficient in English and previous experience in a similar capacity with maritime crewing operations.
Industry Experience with similar responsibility would be preferred.
