About the role

We are excited to offer an internship opportunity within Principal's Islamic Investment team, providing a hands-on experience in the dynamic world of investment.

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about economics, market research and finance.

Key responsibilities:

Conducting economic research to analyse market trends, investment opportunities and potential risks.
Assisting in the preparation of economic writeups and reports
Supporting the team in updating market data, including stock prices, interest rates and economic indicators
Supporting the team to gather and analyse data for investment decisionmaking
Assisting with adhoc projects and tasks as required by the Investment department

Qualifications:

Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fastpaced environment
Willing to be based in KL City Center
Able to commit to an internship period of at least 3 months
