Requirements:


  • Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Has a minimum experience of 2 years or more in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word / Excel is preferred.
  • Knowledge in SST related matters (Training can be provided if none)
  • Has good communication and analytical skills and is detail oriented.
  • Able to work well with tight deadlines under mínimal supervision.
  • Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
  • Able to start work immediately will be added advantage.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Petaling Jaya.
Responsibility

  • To perform day to day accounting operations.
  • Performing fullset account, and responsible for all aspects of accounting functions.
  • Prepare monthly financial accounts closing and management reports within the deadline.
  • Actively communicate with bankers, company secretary, tax consultant and auditors on financial matters.
  • Perform profit & loss and balance sheet analysis.
  • Manage all phases of Accounts Payable, Receivable and Department budget.
  • Prepare regular reports and summaries of accounting activities.
  • Verify recorded transactions and report irregularities to management.
  • Forecasting cash payments and anticipating challenges arising from limited cash flow.
  • Ensuring that cash flows are adequate to allow business units to operate effectively.
  • Maintain files of all contracts, insurance policies, tax reports, expenses, etc.
  • Maintaining and transferring money between bank accounts as required.
  • Dealing with GST/SST transactions verification, reconciliation and report submission.
  • Bank reconciliation and reconciliation of supplier statements, credit cards etc.
  • To assist in monthly stock count.
  • To ensure all filing of respective documents are done in a timely and orderly fashion.
  • Responsible for Human Resource operations duties such as processing of salary and staff claims and other expenditure and ensure all are correct and is approved by the management.
  • Make payment for statutory payment (EPF, SOCSO, EIS & Income Tax)
  • To undertake any other ad hoc assignment as and when required
