Job Summary
This role entails leveraging your analytical expertise, market research capabilities, and business acumen to enhance and optimize product assortment, pricing strategies, and inventory management, regionally and in support of our global partners.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret merchandising data, including sales figures, inventory levels, and product performance.
- Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as sellthrough rates, gross margin, and inventory turnover.
- Document findings, analyses, recommendations and effectively convey them to shape to decision making processes.
Assortment Planning:
- Develop product assortment strategies based on market trends, customer preferences, and sales history.
- Assist in assortment planning and forecasting to maximize revenue and minimize excess inventory.
Pricing Analysis:
- Analyze pricing structures and strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Monitor pricing changes in the market and make recommendations for price adjustments as needed.
- Support product launches and promotions by providing datadriven insights and recommendations.
Inventory Management:
- Assist in demand forecasting to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Identify slowmoving or obsolete inventory and propose strategies for clearance or markdowns.
Competitor Analysis:
- Research and analyze competitor merchandising strategies, product offerings, and pricing.
- Provide insights on market positioning and opportunities for differentiation.
Global Partners Support:
- Assist international franchisees in optimizing sales, inventory management and promotional marketing strategies.
- Provide guidance on product assortments that resonate with diverse customer bases across different countries.
- Conduct market research in target international markets to assess demand, competition, and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Exceptional analytical and strong attention to detail, yet also a proactive individual with a cando attitude.
- Outstanding organizational skills and experience in effectively coordinating projects across multiple departments / functions against deliverables.
- Demonstrate strong entrepreneurial drive who is a selfstarter that takes initiative, fast learner, resourceful, and willing to get hands dirty to achieve results and goals.
- Advance level of excel skill.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision and meeting tight datelines.
