Technical Assistant - Shah Alam, Malaysia - Malaysian Die-Casting Industries Sdn Bhd
Description
To oversee the jig and tool changes, cutting tool stock control and machine breakdown and preventive maintenance.- To support Development Department for new product introduction and FA activities, in order to produce parts with high quality, and at appropriate cost and cycle time.
- Ensure all necessary process control documents (including Work Instruction, drawing) and new product testing report are prepared, and hand over (with proper briefing where necessary) to Machining Production.
- Work with Machining Production to continually improve product quality, reduce production reject, improve cycle time through automation and drive for cost down activities.
- Work together with Machining Production to advise, plan, implement and review corrective and preventive actions to improve the quality of product.
- Plan, coordinate and commission of any new machining related equipment in the section.
- Study, review and advice on new and existing technology for continuous improvement.
- To support the overall performance of Machining Engineering section.
- Support in any additional task as assigned by immediate superior.
