Description
Plan machining process, develop CNC program and setting instructions. Select tools and plan tool-life. Set up machines for daily production and sample making.

  • Daily routine checking on actual output vs planned schedule, monitor toollife. Ensure meet/exceeds set targets.
  • Analyze rejection rate and machine downtime. Troubleshoot and offer alternative processes to resolve quality issues.
  • Provide technical support during production. Finetune machines and process to operate at optimum condition.
  • Actively seek to improve manufacturing cycle time to increase manufacturing efficiency
  • Control the Nonconforming products if suspected
  • Train and guide the Setters/ Machinists /Engineering Assistants to follow setting and work instructions to change tools and understand tool path.
  • Continuous improvement on process method, work economics and cycle time. Expedite machine recovery time to increase manufacturing efficiency.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
  • Knowledge in engineering drawing (AutoCAD) preferably, geometric dimensions and tolerancing.
  • Knowledge in sampling plan, statistical process control, measurement system & failure mode effect analysis
  • Strong CNC turning and programming skills
  • Knowledge in general measuring equipment such as Vernier caliper, micrometer, profile projector, height gauge, roughness tester, smarts cope and etc.
  • Able to work independently

Contract length: 3-6 months


Salary:
RM RM1,500.00 per month
