Main Duties:


  • Fully responsible for ensuring that the daily operation of the Finance Department in Pasir Gudang Works (PGW) runs smoothly and efficient.
  • Prepare and responsible for Manufacturing Account, MPR for CAD/WCD and ensure they are timely and accurately managed.
  • Responsible for SAP changes / ERP requirement related to PGW manufacturing changes of process and revision.
  • Perform the performance evaluation of the subordinates and to identify gaps in term of skills and knowledge for staff development.
  • Liaise with external auditors on PGW manufacturing related matters including stock take.
  • Negotiate with bankers to obtain competitive interest, forex rate, bank charges for Trade Financing.
  • Manage cash or fund requirements for PGW operations.
  • Coordinate and prepare annual budget and midyear revision for PGW operations, which involve various departments.
  • Provide analysis on variable and fixed cost by plant and product to various parties.
  • Liaise with PGW heads on monthly plant operation cost spent, the variances and forecast spending.
  • Liaise with TNB on tariff revision, billing issue, BG renewal and other administrative matters.
  • Ensure and verify the completeness and accuracy of accounting records and those records are kept in compliance to statutory requirement and guidelines.
  • Prepare SOP revision from time to time for changes required.
  • Control and monitor CAPEX spending and fixed asset register to ensure updates and compliance as per guidelines.
  • Provide information and support for external request
  • Statistic Department, CICM, MIDA, Customs, IRB and etc.
  • To perform work in accordance to the company SHE standard and with Corporate Social Responsibilities.
  • Protects the company's confidentiality information.
  • Key player in PGW cost initiatives program and projects.
  • Ad hoc assignment from Head of Finance.

Job Requirements:


  • Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent.


  • Professional Accounting qualification

  • CIMA/ACCA/MIA
  • 3 years working experience in Manufacturing company.
  • Strong SAP experience in manufacturing industry.
  • Meticulous attention to details and high level of accuracy.

Salary:
RM3, RM6,000.00 per month
