Position Title:
Plant Operator, Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS))

Responsibilities:

Assist the Company's Chemist in his/her duties which include:

a) Run the Industrial Effluent Treatment Plant (IETP) operations as per Department of Environment (DOE) and local authority rules and regulations at all times.

1) Carry out the daily maintenance of Industrial Effluent Treatment Plant (IETP) and monitor closely its performance.

Keep inventory of scheduled waste as per Environment Quality Act 1974 (Schedules Wastes Regulations Give proper attention on procedure to storage of sludge produced from the filter press.
Preparation of chemical solutions. Daily record on chemical consumptions, to monitor the Industrial Effluent Treatment Plant (IETP) operation cost.
Proactively conduct the preventive monitoring of Industrial Effluent Treatment Plant (IETP) performance.
Maintain proper records of IETP equipment servicing records.
Represents the company in overseeing other relevant test conducted by external labs when needed.
Regular check to prevent spillage or leakage of schedule waste.

2) To conduct environment monitoring / analysis method according to the established IETS method.

Ensure all testing apparatus and equipment is in good working conditions.
Keep inventory of all samples taken by proper label all samples clearly and to record all information of the sample received, test procedures, observations and results in designated record books.
Interpret results against the legal standards, prepare relevant records and reports as per regulations.

b) To conduct all necessary tests for incoming receiving of raw materials / chemicals / packaging, production quality control, finished product and shipment quality control. This is applicable for all products produced by the Company.

To follow strictly on the Company working procedure as per quality management system (ISO 9001), GMP and FSSC regulation.
To assist chemists with laboratory management such as chemicals inventory control, equipment calibration, waste handling, housekeeping, proper filing and record keeping.

Salary:
From RM1,650.00 per month
