Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance and Accounting professional to join our team in the role of Financial Manager.

As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in preparing financial statements, conducting strategic planning and analysis, and managing day-to-day accounting operations.

Besides, you will need to manage the Finance Team and report to Head of Finance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze financial data to prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts for Group reporting.
Develop and implement effective finance processes to support the operations team in achieving their objectives.
Undertake strategic planning and analysis to provide valuable insights and recommendations to the management team.
Maintain project ledgers and compare actual results against budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
Establish and oversee an internal control framework to ensure compliance and mitigate financial risks.
Manage daytoday accounting operations, including monthend closing, financial reporting, and analysis.
Prepare and submit local tax and statutory requirements in a timely manner.
Coordinate and assist with external and/or internal audits to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
Collaborate with other business functions, providing valuable financial data and analysis to support decisionmaking.
Handle adhoc accounting functions and assignments as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional certification as a Chartered Accountant or equivalent (CPA / ACCA)
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles, with a focus on multinational corporations (MNCs).
Strong knowledge of local statutory reporting requirements (IFRS / MFRS). Having knowledge of Singapore accounting rules is an added advantage.
Proficiency in preparing full sets of accounts and using financial software, with experience in SAP and ACCPAC as a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with fluency in English, Malay, and Mandarin.
Strong attention to detail, proactive problemsolving abilities, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Experience in system migration is considered an advantage.

Salary:
RM7, RM9,000.00 per month
