We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our development team in Malaysia.

You will be working on deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet customer and business needs.

If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with Linux-based Systems and Rancher or other containerized technology, we'd like to meet you


Responsibilities:


  • Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure.
  • Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers.
  • Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
  • Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
  • Identifying technical problems and developing software updates.
  • Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.
Remote working if you are not in Malaysia


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field.
  • More than 3 years of experience working with Linuxbased systems.
  • Experience working with Relational and Nonrelational Database Management Systems such as
  • Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, MySQL, IBM DB2, Redis, MongoDB and/or Cassandra.
  • Experience working with Cloudbased systems such as AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, and more.
  • Experience working with containerised technology such as Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, etc.
  • Demonstrate project development and leadership skills.
  • Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures.
  • Experience working together with teams from several departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan.
  • Professional experience and a highlevel understanding of working with various operating systems and their implications.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
