Description

We are looking for a Microsoft SQL Server database administrator to join our client team that is developing and maintaining the largest land and sea ticketing website in Southeast Asia.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform installation, patching, and upgrading for the database and database infrastructure.
  • Generate various reports by querying from the database as needed.
  • Assist programmers with database design, query writing, and query optimization.
  • Support database monitoring, migration, and maintenance (archive, backup and restoration, performance analysis and tuning, indexing, etc.)
  • Manage user accounts and permissions. Implement database security policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve 24x7 production database issues promptly.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of working experience as a Microsoft SQL Server database administrator.
  • Experience in Microsoft SQL Server High Availability is a must.
  • Experience in other database systems like MongoDB and OceanBase is an added advantage.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team and have selfinitiative
