Job Summary
Discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses and ensure all warehouse productivity targets are met and all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
Key Accountabilities
-
Procurement strategies and supplier management
- Develop, lead and execute effective procurement strategies
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyersupplier power
- Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.
- Research potential suppliers and negotiate advantageous terms.
- Manage supplier relationships.
2. Manage purchasing operations
- Manage daily purchasing activities.
- Ensure all purchased items meet the required standards and specifications and delivered at the right time in the right quantities.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Continually improve purchasing systems and processes.
3. Manage Warehouse operations
- Manage warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision.
- Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
- Manage stock control and reconcile with SAP B1 inventory system.
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
Other Responsibilities

- Orient, train and coach employees
Requirements:
- Bachelor ́s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration
- Deep knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
- Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP Business One
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- At least 5 years relevant working experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar position
- Supervisory and management experience.
