Purchasing Executive - Shah Alam, Malaysia - Total Metering Solution Sdn Bhd

Description

• Issue Purchase Order and forward to respective supplier.
• Expedite & follow up with supplier for on-time delivery.
• Liaise and build good rapport with suppliers and internal team and other departments (relationship management).
• Monitoring and managing Import/ Export activities as well as transportation/ shipping costs and credits.
• Manage faulty claim item from supplier.
• Maintain database - update and file all material certificates, quotations, and purchase orders as per company's SOP.
• To ensure continued efficient procedures and processes (ISO Standard) are followed to achieve high service standards.
• To establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
• Work closely with Customer Service team.
• Work closely with Warehouse Personnel to plan & carry out yearly stock count activities.
• Work closely with HOC & Finance team.
• To provide weekly/ monthly report to manager reflecting accurate update on goods purchased and highlighting any issues.
• Other duties may be assigned to you by supervisor from time to time at the discretion of management.

• Must possess at least a Degree in any related field or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' experience in related field.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Proficient in English, Malay, & Chinese (Verbal & Written)
• Excellent in Incoterms.
• Committed, independent, self-motivated, good initiative and good organization skills.
• Enthusiastic, positive attitude and good team player.
• Able to work under pressure.
