Plant Manager

Our respective client (Manufacturing) is a leading provider of rigid plastic packaging solutions in Asia providing high quality products that meet the highest sustainability standards.

They are looking for a Plant Manager to join their team.

The Plant Manager's role is to plan, monitor and control production and supporting activities that are carried out at the plant to be aligned with the policy, systems, and procedures in order to achieve plant strategic goals and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

Strategy and Planning:

To lead and integrate annual planning at plant between departments/divisions to be aligned with company's direction to assure alignment on strategic goals and to monitor the execution.
To provide directions on implementation, policies, and procedures to ensure the plant meets the performance and operational standard.

Operational:

Manage the P&L of the plant.
Monitor operations cost, production schedule, inventory, production equipment to ensure the plant operates at the highest efficiency.
Manage manufacturing operations, including financial, production, safety, and quality performance.
Review and allocate manpower, materials and equipment's resources to meet the plant's target.

Human Resources:

Ensure all plant policies, regulations, and activities are in compliance with legal requirements.
Ensure labor relations are well maintained, through continuous communications and relationship building activities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, industrial management, or relevant fields.
At least 5 years of experience working as a Plant Manager, preferably in the rigid plastic packaging industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing plant operations, driving continuous improvement, and achieving production targets.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and safety regulations.

Pay:
Up to RM18,000.00 per month
