Supply Chain Manager - Shah Alam, Malaysia - Sydney Cake House Sdn Bhd
Description
Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Manager plays an important role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the Company's supply chain operations.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the Company's supply Chain processes, including procurement, production, inventory management and distribution.
- Oversee inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
- Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of products to customers while optimizing costs and minimizing delays.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to forecast demand and develop plans to meet customers' requirements efficiently.
- Continuously review and optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring continuity of supply and minimizing disruptions.
- Lead and motivate a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, coaching and support to ensure high performance and employee development.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to supply chain management, including safety, quality and environmental regulations.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related fields.
- Proven experience in supply chain management with minimum 5 years in a leadership role, preferably Food industry in the related field.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent Organizational and Time Management skills.
- Good communication skill, both verbal and written.
- Able to work in Shah Alam, Hicom Glenmarie
- Willing to travel, whenever necessary
