Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees procurement operations for the company and its branches in Malaysia, which involves conducting sourcing, research and evaluation of potential supplies in compliance with compant policies and procedures.
  • Obtain quotes from suppliers for required goods/services and negotiate for the best prices and terms.
  • Review purchase requisitions from various company's departments/branches and generate purchase orders accordingly.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of purchased goods/services according to schedule, quantity, specifications and quality standards to the departments/branches
  • Maintaine a database, update pricing information and file all supplier quotations and purhcase orders in compliance with Group's Procurment guidelines
  • Monitor and analyse company's purchases to ensure budget compliance and cost control, monitoring and efficiency by developing and refining procurement processes and implementing new procurement system
  • Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal departments
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Management

Requirements:


  • Possess at least a diploma/bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or any relevant fields
  • Minimum 5 year of relevant working experience in procurement
  • Resourceful with strong sourcing, negotiation & procurement skills
  • Possesses strong communication, independent and good in problem solving
  • Selfmotivated, resultdriven, independent and good in problem solving
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
  • Ability to travel when required.

Pay:
From RM6,500.00 per month
